Wambui Kimathi

Wambui Kimathi is currently a Senior Advisor to Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation in the Government of Kenya. Previously she was the County Secretary/Head of County Public Service. She has spent most of her life as a human rights advocate. Her previous roles have been as a Commissioner at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, the Deputy Executive Director of the Kenya Human Rights Commission, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Institute for Business and Human Rights in Kenya.

Winnie Mitullah

Prof. Winnie Mitullah is a highly respected Kenyan scholar. She is a Professor of Development Studies at the University of Nairobi. Previously she served as the Director of the Institute for Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Nairobi. She is a renowned expert on issues of political development, urban planning, gender and civil society in Kenya and Africa. Winnie holds a PhD in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of York, UK.

Francis Aywa

Francis Aywa is currently the Team Leader for the Deepening Democracy Programme at Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI) - Kenya. Previously, he served as SUNY's Chief of Party for the Kenya Parliamentary Strengthening Programme. He has many years' experience managing large, complex civil society programmes in Kenya. He has also served as a Commissioner on the Independent Review Commission on the General Elections held in kenya on 27th December 2007 (IREC).

Collins Odote

Dr. Collins Odote is the current director for Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP). He has worked with a number of governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) developing particular competencies in legal research, governance, project cycle management, process consulting, evaluations, election related work, environment and natural resource management work, capacity strengthening and training. He is also an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Prisca Kamungi

Prisca Kamungi is a lecturer at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies, University of Nairobi. She is also a Research and Documentation Analyst with the UNDP-Kenya Deepening Foundations of Peacebuilding and Community Security Programme. Prisca has consulted for over 15 years in the area of conflict analysis, elections, peace building and displacement in Eastern Africa and the Great Lakes region. She holds a PhD in Social Science from the University of the Witswatersrand.

Mutuma Ruteere

Dr. Mutuma Ruteere is the Executive Director, Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies (CHRIPS) and secretary to the CHRIPS board.
