The following pages present a review of current efforts for CVE (countering violent extremism) through employment and education approaches. Although evidence of successful practices for prevention and de-radicalisation within this field is scarce, due to the complex and long-term nature of such interventions, this literature review provides an insight into the current debates, theories, assumptions and emerging good practices brought forward by scholars, practitioners and international agencies alike.
